Best Practices We're Loving This Valentine's Day
February 11, 2021
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, don’t forget to show your business some love by prioritizing quality practices. Below are some best practices we LOVE and live by! These CMMI practice areas are important to Kreative because not only do we follow them to improve our business processes, but we work with our customers to implement them and improve theirs.
❤️ Causal Analysis Resolution (CAR) – This practice area from the CMMI 2.0 model allows organizations to identify causes of selected outcomes and take action(s) to improve process performance resulting in improved quality and productivity. Determining the ‘why’ of an outcome, good and bad, is necessary for success!
❤️ Service Continuity (SCON) – This practice area from the CMMI 2.0 model helps organizations establish and maintain plans to ensure continuity of services during and following significant disruption of normal operations. At Kreative, we take it a bit further by applying SCON practices to our development projects as well. This practice has truly become relevant in today’s global pandemic work environment.
❤️ Managing Performance and Management (MPM) – This practice area from the CMMI 2.0 model helps organizations focus on ensuring maximum return on investments by placing emphasis on management and improvement efforts. We love the additional requirements added to the previous version known as “Measurement & Analysis” where organizations must focus on data quality. Data is key to making sound business decisions and this practice does just that!
