Community Outreach
2015 – 2021
At Kreative, we believe that giving back allows our organization to connect with the community on a different level and provides an environment of philanthropy and social responsibility in the workplace. Because of this, we hold an annual “Kreative Open” golf event to raise donations for a local charity. The event provides employees, families, and local businesses the opportunity to take part in a building a better future, boosting community morale, and making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
For Kreative’s 6th Annual Open, we were proud to have partnered with Action in Community Through Service (ACTS). ACTS is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving the residents of the Greater Prince William Area, which includes the Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park.
ACTS addresses the most basic human needs of food and shelter. They established Prince William County’s first food bank, set up a used furniture distribution system, and developed a homeless shelter in local churches. As our community has grown so have ACTS’ services – they expanded to meet other needs of the residents. Services also include a comprehensive domestic violence prevention and intervention program to include the whole family—women, men, and children. In addition, Helpline provides an anonymous crisis telephone service as well as resource referrals. The support groups sponsored by Helpline are essential to people who have lost a loved one to suicide or who have attempted suicide.
With the help of our friends, sponsors, and business partners we were able to raise funds to help continue to support ACTS in their commitment to creating a community where no one goes without or suffers alone.

Each Summer Kreative typically hosts an annual Golf Tournament to support charities such as Comfort Cases, DC Central Kitchen, and many others. Unfortunately, in 2020 we were unable to host such an event due to the outbreak of COVID-19. In order to keep our community safe, we did something a little different. From November to December of 2020, Kreative happily hosted our very first virtual 5k. This Fun Run was hosted in support of Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Children’s Intervention Services (CIS).
CASA CIS is a nonprofit organization advocating for abused or neglected child victims living in Fauquier, Prince William, Rappahannock, and Warren Counties as well as the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. Those who donated and sponsored this event helped Kreative raise over $25,000 to help provide a voice for mistreated and underprivileged children, to lead them on a part to a better life.
