Virtual 5k For CASA Wrap Up

January 12, 2021
Kreative’s Virtual 5k for CASA Children’s Intervention Services kicked off on November 2nd, 2020, and continued its reach until December 31st last year. Our team immediately took to social media to spread the word about our peer-to-peer fundraising event while our generous friends, family, and social media followers did the rest. We raised over $5,000 online with the support of our incredible community and $20,000 worth of offline donations from our amazing sponsors. Kreative couldn’t have reached our goal of raising $25,000 for CASA without the help of BION, Inc.’s Josie Geiger, Pitkin’s Ace Hardware’s own Sara Pitkin, and Wind River Chimes’ Patty Baisden. These organizations have a history of doing amazing work for their community and hold CASA very close to their hearts. As our first fundraising event in support of the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comes to a close, Kreative is happy to officially join them! CASA CIS is a very deserving and important non-profit organization that our community must fight to preserve. They operate solely on government and local grants, plus business and community donations. The event’s like this one is what provide children in need with court appointed advocates, giving them a voice during some of the hardest moments of their lives. Kreative is glad to have served CASA by aiding them with a grand total of $25,980. With these funds, CASA will be able to provide seventeen kids with court-appointed special advocates this year, forever changing these children’s stories.
